Portuguese surge and sudden blackouts reshape the week
Average concurrency climbed, several Portuguese servers expanded their share — and a handful of large Portuguese communities disappeared from scans.
Activity across FiveM rose modestly this week: average concurrency moved to 156,894 (up 3.6% from the previous week) with a new peak of 251,985. The most visible shift was regional: pt-BR leapt to 22% of players from 16.8%, while en-US and th-TH also picked up share. Growth was concentrated in a handful of servers that held most days, but the week’s narrative is double-edged — several large Portuguese servers that were reporting hundreds to over a thousand players went dark mid‑week.

This week added another step to the slow upward trend: average concurrency rose to 156,894 (previous week 151,422), a 3.6% gain, and the monitored peak reached 251,985. The number of servers visible at any point remained large — 82,679 distinct servers were seen and, on average, 32,802 were online. The weekday shape is familiar but slightly amplified: Monday opened high (157,786), midweek dipped (Tue/Wed ~147k) and the weekend finished strongest with Saturday at 169,415 and Sunday at 172,952. The most striking shift in the week-level snapshot is regional composition: pt-BR lifted to 22% of players (from 16.8%), while en-US and th-TH also increased share, moving the landscape further toward Portuguese, Thai and Arabic-speaking audiences. That geographic tilt shows up in the movers and churn lists: several Portuguese-speaking servers are among the week’s biggest risers, and, at the same time, multiple large Portuguese communities stopped appearing. The peak and the daily shape suggest the weekend held its usual weight, but the week’s meaning comes from which gains stuck: a small set of servers delivered sustained increases across multiple days, while others produced single-night spikes or abrupt disappearances. Those different shapes — steady growth versus one-off surges versus vanishings — are the week’s real signal.
Who moved, and whether it held
The clearest, most consequential trajectory this week is the emergent cluster of sustained risers rather than the single biggest headline increase. OKI TOWN @REBIRTHZVPS (th-TH) is the standout: it moved from an average of 35 the prior week to 712 this week, and grew on 4/6 days. Its daily pattern (143 → 3 → 553 → 969 → 1052 → 1128 → 1107) shows a brief trough followed by a persistent plateau above 500; OKI TOWN's rise stuck across most of the week. META CITY (pt-BR) offers a different, steadier climb: average up to 565 from 90 and growth on 5/6 days, with daily counts running 261→574→545→591→621→668→694 — that is a multi-day progression rather than a single spike, and therefore more likely to indicate a durable shift in demand. KUSH PVP (pt-BR) also matters for its scale: it rose to an average of 479 (from 47) and recorded strong midweek and weekend numbers (419→325→421→440→400→659→654), with growth registered on 3/6 days; its later-week sustain is the valuable signal. VALLEY ROLEPLAY (pt-BR) mirrored META CITY’s pattern after an opening low (61 then sustained ~470–600), growing on 5/6 days and finishing the week substantially larger than it began. ROLEA V3 (es_DO) posted the largest percentage gain on paper (from 2 to 189) and grew on 5/6 days; the absolute sizes are smaller but the steady daily increases are the same currency of real traction. Not all increases were evenly spread: ✅CIDADE SANTA ROLEPLAY (#WIPE ONTEM!) showed a dramatic end‑of‑week surge (from midweek lows into 1,223 and 1,378), which registered as growth on only 2/6 days — powerful for the weekend but more vulnerable if it does not repeat. On the losing side, FINAL CITY fell to zero (average 0, previously 123) and effectively vanished during the week; WU roughly halved to an average of 96 from 202 and showed day-on-day decline, and several previously mid‑sized servers (VIVÊNCIA RJ SEASON 2 and v2.5) dropped back toward minimal activity. The week is therefore characterised by a handful of steady, multi-day growers (META CITY, VALLEY ROLEPLAY, ROLEA V3) whose gains are more credible, plus several big, one-night or weekend spikes that will need next-week confirmation.
The leaderboard
Rank movement this week contains some extreme swings. G Roleplay surged into the upper ranks — closing at rank 332 after being at 30,954 the previous close (up 30,622 positions) — a jump that almost certainly represents discovery or reappearance at scale. Moneybag City and | TDC 4.0 | LIVE | also rode large positional climbs, as did Xlantis City, SkyLifeRP.pl (which first appeared in our scans on Friday) and Size B Project. These climbs are notable because they reflect servers moving from obscurity toward sustained visibility across the seven-day span. At the other end, several previously prominent or ranked servers plunged: NewEnergyRP Dev Server collapsed to rank 32,176 from 480; change-me (Qbox Project) and SAKURA TOWN CLASSIC also fell thousands of positions; California Roleplay Los Angeles and a number of smaller projects lost most of their ranked visibility. A steep fall can mean disappearance for monitoring windows, a dramatic drop in activity, or a reclassification in the dataset — whatever the cause, rank-wise these servers no longer occupy the positions they did last week. For server operators, the lesson in the leaderboard is practical: massive upward moves and massive drops both demand follow-up next week to see whether they stabilise into new ranks or revert.

Arrivals and departures
New arrivals that lasted to the week’s close are a meaningful signal because most new servers evaporate quickly. Iraq Paradise | عراق برادايس (ar-IQ) is the most prominent newcomer that survived: first seen 2026-09-08, present 6/7 days with an average of 263 and a peak of 301 — Iraq Paradise arrived and survived the week. RushPvP SAISON GOLDENSUMMER (fr-FR) also established itself (first seen 2026-09-09, present 5/7 days, avg 218, peak 532). Other survivors include Remorse RZ (en-US), Ryse FA (fr-FR) and a clutch of Portuguese newcomers (Vivência Carioca, North Roleplay, MANTEM RJ TOP 1) that held through the final scan. Those survivals cross multiple locales, indicating recruitment of retained players rather than single-night attention. The week’s losses are sharper and concentrated: a cluster of large Portuguese servers went dark mid-week. Notably, A Lisboa (listed twice with last seen 2026-09-04 and 2026-09-03) was previously averaging 1,107 and 999 players respectively before disappearing from scans; DZ7 ROLEPLAY (last seen 2026-09-04/03) had been averaging 834/758; BYOU CITY (th-TH) last appeared 2026-09-07 averaging 573; and WIP TOWN @RebirthzVPS (th-TH) last appeared 2026-09-02 averaging 459. Several other established servers in different regions also stopped reporting. Those are not marginal fluctuations — these were communities with real, repeated traffic that ceased to be visible across our scans during this seven-day window.

What to watch
For server owners and community managers the week offers a clear operational checklist. First, watch the multi-day growers: servers that registered growth on 4–5 of 6 measured days (META CITY, VALLEY ROLEPLAY, ROLEA V3, OKI TOWN) are the ones whose trajectories are worth tracking — if they repeat daily gains next week and translate into rank movement, the change is probably durable. Second, treat weekend spikes (CIDADE SANTA’s late surge, some single-day peaks) as provisional until they reappear on weekdays; a single high-night lift is not the same as steady audience building. Third, the disappearance of several large Portuguese servers is the week’s risk signal; monitor whether those communities return in our scans or remain absent. Finally, use the week-level metrics we report as your validation: ‘grew on N/6 days’, presence on the final day, and rank close-to-close are the most reliable early indications that a move will hold. With pt-BR now at 22% of players, teams should be aware that regional demand is shifting; that may open opportunity for tailored content or competition, but it is only an observation — not a stated cause. The next week will confirm which of this week’s risers are real trajectories and whether the disappeared communities reappear or stay gone; those outcomes will define whether this was a reshuffle or a structural change.
