About FiveStats

An independent analytics platform for the FiveM and RedM ecosystem.

What this is

FiveM and RedM host thousands of public multiplayer servers, and almost nothing is written down about how that ecosystem actually behaves over time. Server lists show you a snapshot: who is online right now. They do not show you which servers are growing, which scripts are quietly being adopted across hundreds of communities, or what a normal Tuesday even looks like.

FiveStats exists to answer those questions with data rather than anecdote. We scan every public FiveM and RedM server every 15 minutes and keep the history, which lets us show trends nobody else can: player counts over months, leaderboard movement, resource adoption curves, regional shifts.

Who runs it

FiveStats is operated by Tim Plate Solutions, a sole proprietorship based in Lüdenscheid, Germany. It is not a Cfx.re product and has no affiliation with Cfx.re, Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Full operator details are in the legal notice, and you can reach a human on the contact page.

Where the data comes from

Every 15 minutes we query the public Cfx.re server list, the same endpoint the in-game server browser uses, and record what each public server reports about itself: its name, player count, capacity, region, and the resources it is running. Nothing is scraped from private servers, and nothing is obtained by connecting to a game server as a player.

That gives us roughly 96 observations of the entire ecosystem per day, going back to when we started scanning. Everything on this site (the charts, the rankings, the daily reports) is computed from that one dataset.

The daily reports

Every day just after midnight UTC we aggregate the day that just closed and publish a written report on it. The figures, charts and tables in those reports are computed directly from our scan data. The written analysis around them is drafted by a language model from those same aggregates and published automatically. The model is given the numbers and cannot query the database, so it can misjudge what a trend means, but it cannot invent a statistic. Each report says so plainly at the bottom, and states the limits of what that day's data can support.

We would rather tell you exactly how the sausage is made than have you find out. If a report gets something wrong, tell us and we will fix or pull it.

What the data cannot tell you

Server-reported numbers are self-reported. A server that misreports its player count to the public list will misreport it to us, and we have no way to independently verify it. Servers can also be renamed, go offline, or drop off the public list entirely, and history follows the endpoint rather than the name.

We can see what moved. We usually cannot see why. An update, a streamer, a marketing push and a community falling out all look identical in a player-count graph. Where our reports suggest a reason, it is a hypothesis, and we try hard to label it as one.

Privacy

The public server list includes player names, and this has real privacy implications that we take seriously. You can request removal of your data at any time through our privacy panel, and suppressed identifiers are never re-collected on subsequent scans. The daily reports use no player-level data at all, only server and resource aggregates. Our privacy policy sets out what we store and why.

How it is funded

FiveStats is free to use. It is supported by advertising and by an optional premium tier that adds alerts, a larger API quota and data export. Advertising is served by Google AdSense and only loads if you consent to it; declining costs you nothing and hides no features. Ads never influence what our reports say. The analysis is generated from the data before any ad is served, and no advertiser has any input into it.

Corrections

If you find an error in a report, a chart, or a server's history, please tell us. We will correct it and, where the error was material, say what changed.
