Regional surges and a handful of collapses shape Week 21
pt-BR and th-TH continue to gain share while a few long-running servers collapsed or vanished; several new arrivals stuck around.
Average concurrency edged down slightly to 148,162 (-0.4% vs prior week) while the weekend held a higher baseline than the weekdays, led by Friday and Sunday. Brazil and Thailand pushed share gains, and the week is defined more by who sustained growth across multiple days than by single-night spikes. A cluster of new servers survived their first week, and a smaller group of previously active servers either collapsed to zeros midweek or stopped appearing altogether. Scan coverage this week was 93%, noted as a caveat for disappearance signals.
The week
Average concurrent players by day of week. Bars are scaled to the week's own range, not from zero.
The week closed with an average concurrency of 148,162 (previous week 148,796) and a peak of 229,853. Average servers online were 33,010 and 82,315 distinct servers were seen at some point during the seven days. Weekday averages show a clear weekend lift — Friday 165,199, Saturday 153,694, Sunday 160,890 — while the weekday baseline sat lower (Mon–Thu range 136,503–142,608). That Friday high helped keep the weekly mean close to the prior week despite a small overall decline of 0.4%. Regional composition continued to shift: pt-BR rose to 25,748 players (19.5% share) and th-TH to 15,993 players (12.1%), with en-US also larger at 20,281 players (15.4%). The scan coverage for the week was 93%; that is the necessary caveat for disappearance and dark-server signals below. Most of the week’s meaningful movement is not a single-night spike but patterns that either persisted across multiple days or failed to. Several servers produced multi-day climbs and made measurable rank gains; a smaller number of once-active servers either collapsed to zeros in the middle of the week or stopped appearing entirely. New servers that survived to the week close patched into the middle ranks rather than into the topmost slots, but one new arrival posted a strong peak. Overall the network looked more rebalanced by region than by a wholesale change in player counts: the total population was effectively flat, but distribution continued to shift toward Portuguese- and Thai-language servers.
Who moved, and whether it held
This week’s signal is about persistence. LUX TOWN's six-day climb is the cleanest example: it grew on 6/6 days from a daily low of 1 to a close of 273 and finished the week with an average of 158 (previous week 0). That shape — steady, day-on-day increases across the whole week — is the sort of trajectory that indicates a genuine acquisition of players rather than a one-night event. Two English-language roleplay servers showed the same profile at smaller scale: Miami Based | 18+ Roleplay… (grew on 6/6 days, avg 129 from 1) and Chicago Based | 18+ Roleplay… (grew on 6/6 days, avg 99 from 0). Both moved steadily up through the week rather than spiking and retreating. ซัมเมอร์ซิตี้ ซีซั่นสอง also matters because of scale: it rose from an avg 96 to 958 and grew on 4/6 days, finishing the week consistently near the high hundreds each day (daily values ending 983→1,070). That is a sustained arrival large enough to change the upper-mid tier mix. VICE CITY WIPE HOJE!! is a different animal: it was essentially absent early in the week (0→1→2) then exploded to 259→264→341 late in the run. It grew on 5/6 days, but the shape is a clear single-event wipe or relaunch that carried through the weekend; whether that converts to a lasting base requires watching weekday retention next week. Smaller but notable climbs include KERP, PRIME PVP and مقاطعة نيولوس — each grew on multiple days and pushed themselves into higher rank bands by week close. On the downside, several servers that had previously been substantial lost most of their base inside the seven days. Shield Fake-Players Preview!! collapsed from an avg 408 to 31 and grew on only 1/6 days; LAST REMASTERED fell steadily to an avg 50 and reached zero on the final reported day; Streets Of Atlanta showed a midweek fall to zero and did not recover during the window. Those declines are large enough to change regional supply in the affected locales. In short: a handful of genuine, steady climbs are visible and a smaller number of large collapses punctuate the week.
The leaderboard
Rank movement was dramatic at the margins. The biggest upward moves are concentrated in servers that either staged big week-long climbs or launched during the week: | TDC 4.0 | DEV | leapt into rank 637 from 30,839 (up 30,202), #PGUN YENİ SEZON and YER6 PVP made similar six-figure jumps into mid-hundreds, and LUX TOWN finished week close at rank 249 after its full-week ascent. VICE CITY WIPE HOJE!! moved into the top 50 (rank 44) from far outside the list (was 26,300), reflecting the late-week surge that produced a three-hundred-plus daily peak. These are rank gains driven by concentrated growth rather than gradual climb from the same baseline. The fallers list shows equally dramatic reversals: HAPPINESS TOWN Cfw dropped from the top ranks to 31,971 (down 30,425), Helios City RP and Los Santos City likewise plunged by many tens of thousands of rank positions, and LAST REMASTERED is down roughly 28,596 places. Where rank falls are steep and coincide with daily zeros or sustained low counts, the fall appears to be an operational collapse rather than a temporary dip. The week’s leaderboard story is therefore bifurcated: rapid ascents from new or relaunched servers on one side, and abrupt, sometimes terminal falls from once-stable servers on the other. That divergence amplified the appearance of churn even though total concurrency was nearly flat.

Arrivals and departures
New-server survival mattered this week. Ten servers first observed during the seven days were still present on the last day; Narco City arrived on 2026-05-20 and is the standout — present 5/7 days with an average of 283 and a peak of 1,536, a large peak for a newcomer. Other survivors include Her Son Bir Başlangıçtır #V10 (avg 152), #1〢Empire City S1 (avg 98), Lucid District Roleplay (avg 69) and TXD Group (avg 58); several of these were present all seven days. Those are genuine arrivals that added supply rather than momentary blips. Offsetting arrivals, a set of servers that had previously carried real populations stopped appearing during the week and remain absent in our scans. Notable among the WENT DARK list are servers last seen earlier in the month with meaningful averages: โฟร์คิง น่ารักมาก was averaging 364 players, WIP TOWN | @RebirthzVPS 358, and REVOADA RJ 314 — each last seen 2026-05-12. A handful more vanished later (Celestia RP last seen 2026-05-19, VICE CITY OFICIAL INAUGUROU AGORA last seen 2026-05-20). Because scan coverage was 93% this week, disappearances are likely real but merit confirmation; operational outages can sometimes masquerade as permanent drops. The combined picture is clear: genuine new entries that survived the week, plus a set of larger servers that stopped appearing during or before the period and have not returned.
What to watch
What to watch next week: first, whether LUX TOWN, Miami Based and Chicago Based keep growing on multiple days. Continuation of 5–6 day gains will confirm a trajectory; falling back to a single-night peak would suggest an event-driven spike instead. For VICE CITY WIPE HOJE!! and similar late-week surges, weekday retention is the litmus test — if Monday–Thursday baselines remain elevated after the weekend, the wipe translated to a new regular population; if they collapse, it was a weekend spike. Monitor Narco City’s peak-to-average ratio: a peak of 1,536 against avg 283 is a strong opening; sustained daily averages above 200 would move it from a transient headline into a stable top-tier contender. On the downside, servers that hit zeros midweek (Streets Of Atlanta, LAST REMASTERED) need one of two outcomes to be meaningful: a clear reappearance at sizable levels or continued silence, which would confirm a terminal collapse. Given the 93% coverage note, any disappearance should be checked for hosting or scan anomalies before concluding permanence. Finally, regional shifts toward pt-BR and th-TH look durable this week; if next week’s totals keep these locales above 18–19% and 12% respectively, the redistribution of player share will be a recurring theme rather than a one-off. Owners should treat multi-day growth as the strongest signal and single-night peaks as candidates for further verification.
What to take away
- Average concurrent players fell marginally to 148,162 (previous week 148,796).
- pt-BR rose to 25,748 players (19.5% share) while th-TH increased to 15,993 players (12.1% share).
- Several servers posted multi-day growth; LUX TOWN grew on 6/6 days from single digits to an avg of 158.
- Narco City is a notable new arrival — first seen 2026-05-20 and still present at week close with avg 283 and peak 1,536.
- A small set of established servers collapsed to zeros midweek or stopped appearing entirely and did not recover within the seven-day window.
- Scan coverage was 93%, so disappearances are likely real but deserve confirmation next week.
